A person who knows of 47-year-old Anda Franc of King of Prussia (Montgomery County), told police she was the person who swiped the necklace when the cashier turned away at a store in West Whiteland Township on Wednesday, June 16, West Whiteland Township police Det. Scott Pezick told Daily Voice.
Franc turned herself in to police, but is no stranger to the arraignment process.
She was accused in May 2019 of stealing a $2,000 necklace from Little House Shop in Radnor Township (Delaware County), according to a report by Philadelphia Magazine.
Franc also had a run-in with the law in 2012 when she was accused of swiping a $3.99 bag of pretzels from a Publix grocery store in Florida, where she was residing at the time, the news outlet reports.
The woman also has a real estate license in Pennsylvania, and was previously assigned to the Keller Williams office in Bryn Mawr, PhillyMag says.
In the Chester County case, Franc was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property, police said.
She was released from custody after posting $10,000 bail unsecured.
Her preliminary hearing is set for July 1.
